The Inland Revenue Department has informed taxpayers that the Value Added Tax (VAT) for July 2026 must be paid on or before August 20.
The Department stressed that penalties will be imposed for failure to pay taxes or for late payments.
Payments made by cheque, bank draft or payment order will also be considered late if they are received after the relevant due date.
Meanwhile, VAT returns for July must be submitted online on or before August 31.
The Inland Revenue Department has also requested taxpayers to pay withholding tax on or before August 15.
In addition, the Department reminded taxpayers that the Social Security Contribution Levy (SSCL) applicable for July must be paid on or before August 20.
