The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has taken steps to reduce the prices of naphtha and furnace oil.
The revised prices will come into effect from midnight today (04), CPC Managing Director Mayura Neththikumara said.
The price of a litre of naphtha, previously Rs. 210, has been reduced by Rs. 35, bringing the new price down to Rs. 175 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of a litre of furnace oil, previously Rs. 248, has been reduced by Rs. 38, with the new price set at Rs. 210 per litre, according to the CPC.
