US President Donald Trump has posted a map depicting the state of New Mexico as “New America”.
The map, shared on Trump’s Truth Social platform, shows the southwestern US state with the word “Mexico” crossed out and “America” inserted below it.
No explanation was provided for the post, and it remains unclear why the image was shared.
The same image was also posted by the White House on social media without any further clarification.
