The sun will be directly overhead over five locations in Sri Lanka at around 12.10 p.m. today (02), according to the Department of Meteorology.
The nearest locations over which the sun will be directly overhead today are Anamaduwa, Moragollagama, Dambulla, Manampitiya and Valaichchenai.
The Department of Meteorology stated that the sun will continue to be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka until September 07 due to its apparent southward relative motion.
