The Central Crime Investigation Bureau is currently questioning the father of Shiran Basik, a suspected large-scale drug trafficker who was brought to Sri Lanka from Dubai.
Investigations have revealed that Shiran Basik had purchased a house worth approximately Rs. 30 million in a luxury housing complex in the Gampaha area, and that the property had been purchased in his father’s name.
Accordingly, Shiran Basik’s father had been instructed to appear before the Central Crime Investigation Bureau today to provide a statement regarding the matter.
