A special discussion between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and the Maha Sangha representing the Mahanayake Theras of the three Nikayas is scheduled to be held today (08).
The Mahanayake Theras of the three Nikayas have sent a letter to the Minister of Justice and Prison Affairs regarding Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera, who is currently in custody serving a sentence.
A special discussion between the Maha Sangha representing the Mahanayake Theras and the President has been arranged in connection with this matter.
Government Information Director General H.S.K.J. Bandara said the discussion is scheduled to take place at 1.00 p.m. today (08) at the Presidential Secretariat.
