The Sri Lanka Police has announced that a section of the Colombo–Kandy main road between Kadugannawa and Ganethenna has been closed due to adverse weather conditions.
Police stated that the road was temporarily closed as a precautionary measure due to the risk of earth and rock falls in the area.
Motorists have been requested to use alternative routes until further notice.
