Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (08) on an official visit, met President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat today.
The Indian Defence Minister is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya today.
Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh is scheduled to participate in a religious programme at the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple this afternoon. He is also expected to attend a religious event at the Seetha Amman Temple in Nuwara Eliya tomorrow.
Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath said yesterday that three Memoranda of Understanding are expected to be exchanged today between Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
