The computer system of the Department of Immigration and Emigration, which experienced a sudden breakdown this morning (11), has now been restored.
Department spokesperson Mahesh Karunadasa said the affected computer system has been brought back to normal.
The system failure had disrupted the issuance of passports this morning.
