The case filed against former Fisheries Minister Rajitha Senaratne and two other defendants, alleging that the government suffered a financial loss when the Modara Fisheries Harbour was leased to a private company in 2012, was taken up for hearing again before the Colombo High Court today (14).
The hearing was conducted before Colombo High Court Judge Mohamed Mihail.
During the proceedings, evidence was recorded from prosecution witnesses, followed by cross-examination by lawyers representing the defendants.
Further evidence was postponed until November 17.
