A 12-year-old boy has died after falling from a 14-storey apartment complex in Colombo 09, police said.
The incident was reported to the Maradana Police on the evening of August 16.
According to preliminary investigations, the boy had been with several other children near the swimming pool on an upper floor of the apartment complex, looking at the surroundings, when he fell through an open section of the building.
The deceased was a resident of the Colombo 09 area, police said.
The Maradana Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
